My chocolate granola bites

Updated: May 20, 2020

This recipe doesn't require any cooking skills. I would say pick your favourite ingredients and make your own granola (or anything else) bites.

I already mentioned before that I'm a huge fan of chocolate, also I use it a lot in my recipes, so I will always have at least few chocolate bars at home.

The idea about chocolate bites was on my mind for a while.

I was trying to recall on my mind some of granola bars I tried a long time ago and reason why I didn't bought them ever again. And then it hit me. Puffed rice and anything else what is puffed.

I don't like anything puffed (except popcorn), it's not because of the taste. I just don't like it. You might ask why I just didn't try any other granola bar without anything puffed? Well it was enough to try a wrong one to kill my interest.

So I decided to swap puffed rice to granola + chocolate that I had at the moment. You will find all the ingredients shortly, just keep in mind that you can pick whatever you want, for example, puffed rice might be an option for you if you don't like the granola.

One more thing to mention. If you want bites to be more or less crunchy then play around with added amounts of granola. And go for a good peanut butter as always.

To make a medium size granola bar (to cut in smaller pieces later) you will need:

200 grams chocolate of any choice

2 tbsp peanut butter

1 tsp coconut oil (optional)

1/2 granola of any choice

Almond flakes or peanuts for a topping

Place a parchment paper on the baking try.

Then melt the chocolate and coconut oil together (I added the coconut oil to make chocolate more runny).

Melt the peanut butter or just stir it well to make it runny too. Then mix the chocolate with your favourite granola. Place it on the baking tray and make it even (it's up to you how thin you want bites to be).

Add the peanut butter on the top, you can use all your decoration skills you have or just sprinkle it over the chocolate mixture. Decorate with almond flakes or peanuts, or anything of your choice. Place it in a fridge for 20 minutes and it's ready.

Another easy no bake recipe to save for later and it's so easy to swap ingredients to your favourite ones.

Enjoy!
